BLENHEIM PALACE, 1 NOVEMBER 1997

"Whose there?" the dwarf cried, but no answer came
Save a rattle, a clank and a moan,
As closer, and clearer, and louder, and nearer,
Came the horror unseen and unknown!

Lisa kept me on track and we maintained continuity. We've all seen bloopers, so we know some scenes are shot many times over, picked up later to be inserted into the final show, but we had later. We had to finish in time for the banquest, and as we filed out, the crew began striking the set. By dawn, the theater marquee and crew were gone. Happily, our end result appears seamless, thanks to the London editorial staff at Lip Sync, Ltd. In Act IV, when I moved further downstage than had been anticipated, the lighting was marginal. Peter Anderson chose NOT to stop the show to reset the lighting, but pushed the cameras to their limits to let my performance go uninterrupted. The crew squirmed from time to time, but by all accounts, the audience remained spellbound.
