Letter From Ephesus
CONCEPT FOR LETTER FROM EPHESUS APPROVED

TRAVIS STANDING IN THE RUINS
Travis stands by an entrance to the earthquake-ruined theater in Ephesus, smiling because he had a concept for an international action-packed suspense thriller that he was sure would be fully-funded by a multi-national corporation with millions in blocked funds in Turkey. Investment in the movie, to be released worldwide, would return hard currency for the investors, and the money spent on the production in Turkey would be good for the Turkish economy and definitely encourage tourism.
FREESTANDING THEATER, ASPENDOS
Travis said he had no idea of how to bring the still-standing theater of Aspendos into the story, but it's close to the Talya Oteli in Antalya, one of his favorite spots on the Mediterranean Coast. To give you an idea of the Aspendos theatre's size, look carefully at the bottom row of seats, where Bond Johnson is talking to their guide. Then imagine how huge that theater is, and how many people it could hold!
